The showcase capped four days (March 25–28) of product debuts, technology briefings and racing competitions at Booth L0112 in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

Mariner HD was crowned with d&I awards at the 2026 Taipei Cycle Show
The MARINER HD is engineered for larger and taller riders, supporting a maximum load capacity of 330 lbs (150 kg). It addresses the market demand for high payload folding bikes as urban living is trending for riders regardless of body size. Featuring an extendable handlebar, DAHON’s DELTECH system, a Super Down Tube, Mariner HD ensures riding comfort and efficiency. Key components like the frame, fork, and seatpost are validated to withstand 50% higher loads than standard city bike requirements, while the handlepost is tested at 30% higher loads. DAHON-V Racing Challenge: Performance In Action
Visitors experienced DAHON’s performance capabilities through the DAHON-V Racing Challenge took place from March 25 to 27. The competition featured both road bike and folding bike categories, allowing participants to engage directly with DAHON’s technology. DAHON’s Lunden 20” and VELODON A4 were awarded Gold Winners in the Folding Bike and the Road Bike categories respectively, the open racing by visitors attested to the outstanding performance of DAHON’s bikes.

All winners in the road bike category demonstrate the superior speed of Dahon Vélodon A4.
In the road-bike category, Dahon’s aluminum roadbike Vélodon A4 showcased exceptional performance and speed. Under identical riding conditions, all of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners demonstrated that the speed of Vélodon A4 was faster than a competing carbon-fiber road bike by 1.70 s, 3.09 s and 3.25 s respectively, with the best speed recorded at 99.20 s.
DAHON Lunden 20” Outpaced the Competing Tri-fold Bike as Shown by All Winners
In the folding-bike category, Dahon’s tri-folder Lunden 20” demonstrated exceptional stability and outstanding pedaling efficiency. All of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners demonstrated that the speed of Lunden 20” was faster than a competing brand by 1.26 s, 1.94 s, and 2.59 s respectively, with the best recorded at 58.57 s.
