ARE SMALLER WHEELS SLOWER THAN LARGE WHEELS?

I’ve ridden my new Dahon for 2 weeks. I love it. I fold it 3 times a day and it is getting smoother and smoother. It reduces my commuting time by 20 minutes.

Nice first impression.
Fit my 1.8m height. Swaped the not so confortable for me saddle, and good to go. Besides itchy front wheel that is normal for a foldable, feels like a normal bike. And I put some 2.0 schwalbe big apple tires. The frame can fit a 2.2 for more suppleness but not sure if rim with acccepts them. Gearing seems to be fine, enough top speed for city.
